RPR provided a full appraisal, architecture, planning and project management service for the conversion of a substantial Victorian nursing home in Ealing into 8 self-contained flats. The scheme delivers a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom homes within the existing building envelope.

The client approached RPR with a substantial Victorian property in Ealing that had been operating as a nursing home. RPR began with a detailed development appraisal to establish the maximum number of self-contained flats that could feasibly be accommodated within the existing building, taking into account the floor areas, layout, outlook and planning policy context.
Following the appraisal, RPR provided a full architectural design service — producing measured survey drawings of the existing building, designing the proposed flat layouts and preparing all drawings and documents required for a full planning application. Planning permission was secured for 8 self-contained flats comprising 2 studios, 2 one-bedroom, 3 two-bedroom and 1 three-bedroom flat.
RPR then produced a full set of construction drawings and provided on-site project management throughout the build.
